PARTIMI meets SOCIAL ALTERATIONS - Responsible Design: Why should design students care?

Earlier this month I got to meet with fellow Fashioning the Future prize-winner Mary Hanlon from SOCIAL ALTERATIONS. We had the chance to talk through our ideas and share our enthusiasm for helping students to understand how to design responsibly.

See below for some snippets of conversation when Social Alterations asked several figures in the sustainable world what their take on responsible designs was, and why they think design students should care.

Speakers include:

David Goldsmith from The Swedish School of Textiles and Parsons

Eleanor Dorrien-Smith from PARTIMI

Kat Ross and Larissa Clark from the Environmental Justice Foundation

Carolina Gomez-Aubert from Lu/na/mano

and Sophie Koers from the Fair Wear Foundation.
